Refund Policy

Nouna’s Sweets – Cake Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nouna’s Sweets, every cake is handmade with care, premium ingredients, and artistic detail. Because our cakes are custom-made, we maintain the following policies to ensure fairness and quality for every customer.


1. All Custom Cake Sales Are Final

All custom cakes and special-order desserts are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Once preparation begins, ingredients, time, and design work cannot be reused or resold.


2. Cancellations & Order Changes

Orders Under $200

  • 72+ hours before pickup/delivery: 50% refund or 100% store credit

  • Less than 72 hours: Not eligible for refund or credit

Orders Over $200 (weddings, multi-tier cakes, large events)

  • 7+ days before pickup/delivery: 50% refund

  • Less than 7 days: Not eligible for refund or credit

Changes to design or details

All changes must be made before the cancellation window closes.
After that time, changes may not be possible.


3. Quality Concerns

If you believe there is a quality issue with your cake, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup/delivery.

To assess the concern, we require:

  • Clear photos of the cake

  • At least 50% of the remaining cake returned to us

If an error on our part is confirmed, we may offer:

  • A partial refund

  • A store credit

  • A remake (subject to availability)

Please note: Refunds are not provided for personal taste preferences or subjective opinions on sweetness, texture, or flavor.


4. Design Variations

All cakes are handmade. Slight differences in color, design, and artistic detail may occur.
Exact color matching may not be possible due to food dye limitations and lighting variations.

We do not copy other bakers’ work exactly. Your cake will be inspired by your reference photo, not identical.


5. Customer Responsibility After Pickup

Once the cake leaves Nouna’s Sweets, proper handling and storage become the customer’s responsibility.

We are not liable for:

  • Damage during transport

  • Melting due to heat or sun exposure

  • Improper storage (e.g., not refrigerating when required)

  • Dropping or mishandling the cake

  • Leaving the cake in a car

Storage and transport instructions are provided at pickup—please follow them carefully.


6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Our products may contain or come into contact with:
Dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, nuts, and soy.

We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Customers must notify us of any allergies when placing an order.
No refunds will be issued for undisclosed allergies.


7. Missed or Incorrect Pickup

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Missed pickups

  • Incorrect pickup dates or times entered by the customer

  • Late arrivals causing quality issues

  • Cakes left out of refrigeration after pickup


8. Photography Usage

We may photograph your cake for marketing and social media.
Your personal information is never shared.


9. Agreement

By placing an order with Nouna’s Sweets, you agree to all terms in this Cake Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
